A diffuse exhibition immersed in the nature of the Gran Paradiso, where Donato Savin’s stone sculptures – birds moved by the wind, sheep, cows, bearded vultures, ibexes and stelae – are harmoniously integrated with the symbolic places of Cogne. Savin sculpts with lightness and intensity, transforming the material into an instinctive and poetic gesture. ‘It’s not a job, it’s not a passion: it’s a game!’, says the artist, and in these words is reflected all the profound lightness of his artistic gesture: sculpting for him is neither a duty nor a profession, but a free, instinctive, necessary act, just as play is. The works, born from an essential manual skill and a deep sense of the territory, accompany us on a journey that weaves together contemporary art and tradition, restoring value to the relationship between man, animals and the environment with great creative intelligence.

A photographic and educational exhibition to explore the presence of the wolf in the Alps through engaging images and informative panels. The shots, the result of a long wait and deep listening to the Alpine landscape, are by the naturalist photographers of the Nuovi Equilibri project, André Roveyaz and Francesco Guffanti.

The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Associazione Io non ho paura del lupo (I’m not afraid of the wolf) and the LIFE WolfAlps EU project, with the aim of overcoming myths and fears and promoting a conscious and respectful coexistence between man and nature.
